Katy Fleming
Katy Fleming’s love for improving properties began at five when she was glued to her dad’s side, convinced of her indispensable role in the remodeling process. Besides teaching her how to use tools, he taught her the importance of committing to quality work and the valuable lesson that girls could be and do anything they desire.
Her first rental property purchase in 1995 led to refinancing, more property purchases, then wholesaling, flipping and long-term holds. She’s a firm believer in diving in, learning from mistakes, and adapting as needed, recently turning half of her properties into midterm furnished rentals.
Her professional career has included University of Colorado Instructor, non-profit Education Director, Curriculum Developer, Trainer/Facilitator and CO Department of Education Consultant. She has facilitated groups from five to 500 in identifying and accomplishing individual and community goals. When she founded Investors Network Community (INC) in 2011, she was drawn back to the work she had done for decades, forming collaborative communities to accomplish goals.
After running INC as a networking and education group for nine years with her dear friend Jim Edenfield, she transformed INC into a Mastermind Program in 2020. INC Mastermind groups empower investors to achieve their real estate and personal goals, ensuring their networking and education efforts don’t collect dust on the shelf. Jim carried on with the networking and education portion as the highly successful Realty Investors Group (RIG). Her Mastermind members are tight-knit communities of support that provide the accountability necessary for investors to clarify and follow through on their goals and plans to achieve tangible results.
In her spare time, Katy still enjoys home improvement projects, exploring Colorado’s trails, preparing creative vegan dishes, and sharing fun times with loved ones.
